Cool Spring Forecast Worrisome

VANCOUVER - May 10/14 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading little changed, with large numbers of traders preoccupied by last week's annual CICILS conference in South Africa.

No concern was expressed over the fact seeding of all crops is getting off to a slower than normal start in North Dakota, Minnesota and Michigan.

Those are three key edible bean producing states, accounting for a major share of the U.S. pinto, navy, and black bean crops.
