El Nino Forecasts Worry Peas
VANCOUVER - Apr 18/14 - SNS -- Field pea markets were little changed against relatively quiet market conditions, with some fill in trading reported by exporters in both Canada and the United States.
Markets are awaiting the April 24 seeding intentions report from Statistics Canada for price direction for the last half of 2014.
There is also moderate unease about whether forecasters are right in predicting a strong El Nino event will start in June or July.
