MOSES LAKE - Apr 18/14 - SNS -- The latest weekly USDA alfalfa hay market update for Idaho.

   Compared to last week, new crop contracts steady in a light test. New
crop contract hay is selling straight thru rain or shine with no test.
Premium/Supreme and Fair/Good Alfalfa steady to firm. Trade turned moderate
this week especially from California buyers and new contracts. Demand remains
good for all classes especially for high testing supplies. Retail/feed
store/horse not tested this week. Buyer demand good with light to moderate
supplies.  All prices are dollars per ton and FOB unless otherwise stated.
