Weekly Montana Hay Report Compared to last week: Sales steady this week on a very light reported volume. Demand remains moderate from in state customers, moderate to good from out of state buyers where supplies of hay are much more limited. Cool, wet conditions this week across much of the state. Good snowpack levels in the mountain ranges across the state making the outlook for the coming irrigation season looking very positive. All prices are dollars per ton and FOB unless otherwise noted.
