Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 17/14 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system lies over southeastern Australia. The high is slowly moving east and it will move over the southwestern Tasman Sea during Monday maintaining a ridge to northeastern New South Wales. The next cold front/trough system is expected to move through the state on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers developing in the far south. The chance of early showers near the central coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Patchy morning fog in the east. Northwest to southwesterly winds, freshening in the south and west.Saturday 19 AprilFine apart from the chance of early showers in the southeast and near Port Stephens to Seal Rocks. Early fog patches in the east, otherwise mostly sunny. South to southwesterly winds, fresh along parts of the coast.Sunday 20 AprilEarly frost patches about the tablelands, otherwise fine and mostly sunny. West to southwesterly winds, becoming light and variable in the west, and tending northeasterly along the northern coast in the afternoon.Monday 21 AprilEarly frost patches about the tablelands, otherwise fine and mostly sunny. Light and variable winds inland, tending northeast to southeast along the coast.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Friday.Product IDN10031
