VANCOUVER - Apr 9/14 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France continued to slow in February, dropping below the previous month but remaining above year earlier levels, according to data compiled by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP).

Export shipments during the month totalled 12,470 metric tons (MT), down 22% from the 15,940 MT shipped the previous month, but up 7% from the 11,660 MT shipped the same month last year.

Most peas were shipped to European destinations, with Belgium the most important, followed by Norway and Germany. There were no reports of pea shipments to India or Egypt.
