Mixed Finish for Beans
VANCOUVER - Jan 18/14 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on a mixed note, with some weakness noted for some classes of U.S. origin product.
This was reflected in a modest decline in the weighted average prices fro dry edible beans from U.S. $51.96 to $51.90 per 100 pounds (cwt).
This was matched by an eight point drop in the dry bean index to 1556, while the spot market grower index was down seven points at 1406.
