Upper U.S. Midwest Organic Grain and Feedstuffs

DES MOINES - Oct 5/11 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the U.S. upper midwest.

Upper Midwest Organic Grain & Feedstuffs Report (Bi-Weekly)
Weighted Average Report for the Week Ending      10/01/11
For the following states: WI, MN, IA, SD, ND, NE, KS, MO
Compared to two weeks ago, organic grain and feedstuffs prices were mostly
steady to weak.  Feed grade corn prices reported this week represent new crop
pricing.  However, a few loads of old crop corn was reported at 13.25, which
was lower when compared to previous reported old crop production. Soybean prices
were mostly steady.  Market activity was slow to moderate as trade participates
keeping an eye on the conventional grain futures which has been on a downward
spiraling the last few weeks.

and negotiated spot market.
