Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 210,000 MT
WINNIPEG - Aug 28/10 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 210,000 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-10 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 20,900 from 189,100 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 47,500 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 173,500 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 173,500 MT peas up 91,400 from 82,100 MT last year.
