Canada's Visible Pea Stocks Total 179,600 MT
WINNIPEG - Aug 20/10 - STAT -- Visible supplies of field peas in Canada's licensed elevator system totalled 179,600 metric tons (MT) during the latest week under review by the Canadian Grain Commission for the 2010-10 marketing year.
Data compiled by the Canadian Grain Commission revealed visible stocks are up 18,100 from 161,500 MT by this time of the season during the last marketing year.
Exports totalled 29,400 MT during the week under review, for a season to date total of 126,000 MT. Export shipments so far this season total 126,000 MT peas up 65,400 from 60,600 MT last year.
