Quiet Week For Peas
VANCOUVER - Mar 20/10 - SNS -- Field pea markets maintained their quiet tone throughout the past week, with some fill in trading reported in Canada to meet the needs of pending export shipments.
Markets were relieved by news India will allow duty free pulse imports for at least another year.
During the week, the cabinet approved an extension of the policy until March 31, 2011 as well as the ban on pulse exports.
