Mixed Finish For Edible BeansVANCOUVER - Mar 12/10 - SNS -- World dry edible bean markets managed a mixed finish on the week, with values in North American inching upward despite a rise in bearish sentiment among buyers. This was reflected in an 11 point gain in the spot market index for U.S. origin beans to 1144 points at week's end; while the spot grower bid index gained 28 points on the week to close at 1055. Spot markets for Argentine origin beans are becoming poorly defined as processors try to sell remaining inventories before new crop beans become available.
