Canada's Weekly Exports Total 891,300 MT
WINNIPEG - Jul 3/09 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 28,475,800 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year up 2,313,700 MT from the 26,162,100 moved last year.
The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending June 28.
Grower deliveries during the week included 432,300 MT of wheat; 101,800 MT of durum; 33,000 MT of oats; 65,000 MT of barley; 10,900 MT of flax; 211,600 MT of canola; 23,700 MT of peas; and 6,200 MT of corn.
The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 891,300 MT. On the grain side this included including 452,800 MT of wheat; 113,200 MT of durum; 12,700 MT of oats; 3,100 MT of barley; and no corn.
