Domestic shipment: Offers, fob mills, milled rice, spot prices, dollars
per cwt, bagged. (All milled rice grade No 2 not to exceed 4 percent brokens,
except California grade No 1. All second heads grade No 4 or better, second
head and brewers are bulk.)

Domestic Situation
Domestic milled rice price quotes were steady to lower in south and steady
in California this week. By-products were uneven in the south and steady to
lower in California.
In the south, long grain rice price quotes were steady, quoted mostly at
33.50-34.00; medium grain prices were steady, quoted mostly at 44.00-46.50;
parboiled quotes were steady to instances 1.00 lower, quoted mostly at 36.50-
37.00; second heads were steady, quoted mostly at 28.00-29.50; brewers were
steady. Rice by-products: Offers for rice bran were steady to 10.00 higher;
millfeed was steady; hulls were steady.
In California, medium grain milled rice prices were steady, quoted mostly at
45.00-47.50; short grain prices were steady; second heads were steady, quoted
mostly at 35.00-37.00; brewers were steady, quoted mostly at 26.00-28.00. Rice
bran was steady, quoted mostly at 130.00; rice hulls were steady.
