Canada's Weekly Exports Total 653,600 MTWINNIPEG - Nov 14/08 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 7,698,800 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 682,600 MT from the 8,381,400 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending November 9. Grower deliveries during the week included 362,100 MT of wheat; 99,800 MT of durum; 35,500 MT of oats; 57,200 MT of barley; 17,600 MT of flax; 198,600 MT of canola; 8,000 MT of peas; and 52,800 MT of corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 653,600 MT. On the grain side this included including 326,200 MT of wheat; 78,300 MT of durum; 24,500 MT of oats; 38,600 MT of barley; and 12,500 MT of corn.
