CGC Reports Stronger May Pea Exports
WINNIPEG - Jun 27/08 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports field pea exports in May totalled 157,700 metric tons (MT) through licensed terminal facilities, which are required to report to it all grain movement.
The CGC exports are up from the 109,700 MT shipped the same month last year and up from the 69,000 MT shipped the previous month. The CGC reports field pea exports so far during the 2007-08 crop year total 1,585,100 MT, up from 1,381,600 during the same period of the 2006-07 marketing year.
