Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 3,910 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jun 18/08 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 156,760 MT, compared to 171,890 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 10,650 MT at 16,110 MT versus 26,760 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 3,570 MT from last year's 54,990 MT.
