Chickpeas Little Changed in Light TradeVANCOUVER - Jun 14/08 - SNS -- International chickpea markets were little changed in light trade during the past week. Seeding of this year's crop is virtually complete in western Canada. Rainfall events during the past week were a welcomed in areas where chickpeas and other pulses are grown. Reactions to rains run the full range, with some saying this will "at least" guarantee a crop, while others saw the events as a signal to try to add to new crop sales positions.
