VANCOUVER - Apr 11/08 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week's trading little changed under relatively quiet trading conditions.
Mexico's harvest is well underway with improved grower deliveries reported by local processors in that country. This is allowing Mexican exporters to dominate current demand for kabuli chickpeas.
By contrast, Indian exporters continue to sit on the sidelines, waiting for Mexican supplies to begin to tighten.
