Weekly Canadian Crush Falls
WINNIPEG - Dec 8/06 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 69,194 metric tons (MT) of canola and 30,978 of soybeans during the week ending December 6.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, show canola crush fell 1.8%, offsetting the previous week's increase. Soybean crush dropped 11.2%, ending three weeks of increased activity.
