Prices in dollars per hundredweight, Equated to FOB Omaha Basis
National Boxed Beef Cutout
Boxed beef cutout values steady to weak on light to moderate
demand and moderate offerings. Select and Choice chuck, round,
and loin cuts steady to firm. Select rib cuts generally steady,
while Choice rib cuts lower. Beef trimmings firm on light to
moderate demand and offerings.
Estimated composite cutout value of Choice 1-3 600-750 lbs
carcasses dn .58 at 156.62, 750-900 lbs dn .69 at 155.45;
Select 1-3 600-750 lbs dn .33 at 142.92,
750-900 lbs up .08 at 141.33; based on 89.80 loads
of Choice cuts, 120.74 loads of Select cuts, 11.13 loads

Sales reported on 54.50 loads of pork cuts and 15.0 loads of
trim/process pork.

2.00 higher; butts steady; sknd hams mostly 4.00-6.00 lower; sdls
bellies 14-16 lbs steady; lean trimmings 1.00 lower. Trading slow to
moderate, with light to moderate demand and offerings.
