STAT Publishing has gathered material from a variety of sources to lay the groundwork for numerous agricultural commodity discussion groups. From our perspective, the primary reason for the groups is to help distribute agricultural commodity market information is packages designed to stimulate discussion along specific commodity lines.
To this end we have chosen a selection of articles from various public sources and are reflecting these out to people on the list. Our hope is this will stimulate, over time, a useful exchange of comments and reflections on markets, production, processing, trends and other factors important to agricultural commodity traders.

CURRENT MAILING LISTS
- CASHCROP mailing list includes daily grower bid summaries for western Canadian specialty crops and occasional comments about other markets. Discussions should focus on various specialty crops -- field peas, lentils, dry edible beans, sunflower seed, millet, safflower, canaryseed, popcorn and so forth. Subscribers are welcome to express interest to buy and sell these commodities to one another, but any negotiations should be completed outside the mailing list.
- AGFUTURES mailing list includes midday and closing prices for grain and livestock futures in Chicago. Contribution of prices from other exchanges and discussion of futures market trading theory and strategies is welcome.
- DEHYMARKETS mailing list includes market comments and price summaries for selected locations. Contribution of other prices, trading enquiries and discussion of production, processing and marketing is welcome.
- NUTSNFRUITS mailing list includes market comments and price summaries for selected locations. Contribution of other prices, trading enquiries and discussion of production, processing and marketing is welcome.
- GRAINEWS mailing list includes market comments and price summaries for selected locations. Contribution of other prices, trading enquiries and discussion of production, processing and marketing is welcome.
- HONEYLIST mailing list includes market comments and price summaries for selected locations. Contribution of other prices, trading enquiries and discussion of production, processing and marketing is welcome.
- HERBALIST mailing list includes market comments and price summaries for selected locations for fresh herbs. Contribution of other prices, trading enquiries and discussion of production, processing and marketing is welcome.
