Shell Egg Use IncreasesWASHINGTON - Jul 7/04 - SNS -- The quantity of eggs used by the food manufacturing industry rose 3% in May to 162 million dozen, according to the USDA. During calendar year 2004, shell eggs broken totaled 770 million dozen, up 5% from the 731 million dozen broken in 2003.
