Blackleg Threat Worsens in Aussie CanolaSYDNEY - Jul 7/04 - SNS -- The intensity of blackleg outbreaks in Australia could be more severe this year, judging from results of recent surveys by the Department of Agriculture in the state of Western Australia. However, the disease risk could be minimized through careful crop management to maintain profitability. Department pathologist Ravjit Khangura presented details of the survey at the Agribusiness Crop Updates in Perth. The Updates were supported by the Department of Agriculture and the Grains Research and Development Corporation.
