White Proso Millet Area Slips
WASHINGTON - Jun 30/04 - SNS -- White proso millet seeded area in the United States ended up much larger than initially expected, with area slipping just 1% to 720,000 acres, according to today's USDA seeded area estimates.
Producers in Colorado were encouraged by precipitation the beginning of June and increased their planted acreage from last year.
