Japan Ends Dutch Poultry Ban
TOKYO - Jun 23/04 - SNS -- The Netherlands will once again be able to ship poultry and poultry meat to Japan after today's lifting of a March 17 ban on imports by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
The Netherlands implemented prevention measures to help stop the spread of the disease and no news cases of avian influenza have been reported.
