Frozen Poultry Stocks Increase
WASHINGTON - Jun 21/04 - SNS -- Total frozen poultry supplies on May 31, 2004 were 4% higher than the previous month, but 8% lower than a year ago, according to the latest USDA stocks report.
Total stocks of chicken were up 4% from the previous month, but 2% below last year. Total pounds of turkey in freezers were up 3% from last month, but down 14% from May 31, 2003.
