Little Change in Chickpeas
VANCOUVER - Jun 18/04 - STAT -- VANCOUVER - Jun 11/04 - SNS -- International chickpea markets finished the week little changed under relatively light trading conditions.
There was no fresh news to give markets a strong sense of direction. This was especially true of kabuli chickpeas. Desi chickpeas, on the hand, ended the week on a nervous note against news of above average monsoon rainfall during the first half of June in India.
