CWB Opening Contract DeliveriesWINNIPEG - Jun 17/04 - SNS -- The Canadian Wheat Board (CWB) is all wheat and barley signed up under the Series C contracts and 25% of durum. Minimum delivery for durum under the C Series will be reduced from 45 to 25 metric tons (MT), to allow for more equitable delivery opportunity among farmers. In total, the CWB will have accepted over 80% of the durum offered by the majority of farmers in the three contract series. The CWB explained, "Reduced customer demand and intense competition have limited the CWB's ability to accept and move all of the durum that farmers have offered this year."
