SWP Reports $9.1 Million LossREGINA - Jun 17/04 - SNS -- The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool (SWP) continued to struggle through the third quarter of the current fiscal year, reporting a net loss of CDN $9.141 million for the three months ending April 30 on gross billings of $394.5 million. This compares to a net loss of $30.452 million on sales of $292.9 million during the same three month period in 2003. The results pushed the loss for the nine months ending April 30 to $23.7 million on billings of $$1,241,.8 million. This fiscal year's loss is down from the $34.4 million lost during the same nine-month period of the 2002-03 fiscal year on billings of $940.4 million. In releasing the financial results, the SWP noted the third quarter loss from continuing operations was $4.8 million, down sharply from the $27.7 million loss from continuing operations reported last year.
