French Pea Exports Rise in April
PARIS - Jun 15/04 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France picked up speed in April, with total shipment rising 19% above the same month last year and 42% above export clearances in march to total 54,245 metric tons (MT).
Data accumulated by the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP) makes it clear, however, that export clearances remain at their lowest level in several years, but are unlikely to set a new record low for the recent period.
