Overnight Frost in Argentine Bean Areas
VANCOUVER - Jun 12/04 - SNS -- Dry edible bean producers in Argentina report over night frost events in parts of the growing region, with the coldest temperatures noted in the southern growing areas, generating panic among processors and exporters about the status of still maturing beans.
Forecasts for the coming week reveal overnight frosts will be reported in several locations in the northern half of the country, but with lows expected to move well into the plus side of the column starting Sunday and lasting through the balance of the week.
