Record Pace for Myanmar Pulse Shipments
RANGOON - Jun 9/04 - SNS -- Pulse exports from Myanmar maintained their record setting pace through April, as the country shipped 129,001 metric tons (MT) during the month, beating the previous high for the calendar month of 110,323,MT set in 2002.
During the month, Black Matpe comprised 41% of total pulse exports, Mung beans 22% and Toor Whole (Pigeon Pea) 22% of the total beans and pulses export.
