Chickpea Markets Remain Strong
VANCOUVER - Jun 4/04 - STAT -- International chickpea markets remained strong through the opening week of June, helped by tight supplies in Mexico and an optimistic outlook for sales of Turkish origin product.
Not expecting meaningful competition from Canada or the United States in the large kabuli chickpea markets, growers and processors in Mexico are not backing off their selling ideas for this year's harvest.
