Shell Egg Use Jumps in AprilWASHINGTON - Jun 4/04 - SNS -- Eggs used by manufacturers rose sharply during April, judging from the latest USDA data, rising 10% above year earlier levels to 160 million dozen. During calendar year 2004, shell eggs broken totaled 608 million dozen, up 6% from the 573 million dozen broken in 2003.
