USDA Buys 2,560 MT PulsesKANSAS CITY - Jun 3/04 - SNS - The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation offices here confirmed the purchase of 2,560 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid in July. Results of the food aid tender were mixed, with selling prices for pinto beans rising from levels paid by the USDA on May 5; while sales prices for both split green peas and lentils were sharply lower.
