U.S. Bean Seeding Progress Behind NormalWASHINGTON - Jun 2/04 - SNS -- Overall seeding progress for this year's dry edible bean crops is behind normal in the United States, with better than average progress is several states unable to offset the lag in North Dakota and Minnesota. Seeding progress in North Dakota is just at the halfway point, slightly slower than last year and well behind the 58% normally in the ground by the start of June. Wet weather is making it hard for growers to get infields. This is not a worrisome development in North Dakota, but is of increasing concern in Michigan.
