Old Crop Lentil Premiums Fading
VANCOUVER - May 28/04 - STAT -- General reluctance to pay premiums for old crop merchandise on international agricultural commodity markets influenced demand for lentils during the past week.
Though importers need to wait longer for lentil harvests, their attitudes toward buying are being influenced by the rapidly approaching northern hemisphere harvest activity for other crops.
