Wet Weather Delays Bean SeedingWASHINGTON - May 25/04 - SNS -- Seeding this year's dry edible bean crops was delayed in some of the major producing areas in the north and northeastern United States on account of wet weather. Conditions are having their greatest impact on Michigan, where seeding is behind schedule for most crops and most farms in the state are rated as having excess moisture.
