Easier Tone in Lentil markets
VANCOUVER - May 22/04 - STAT -- Lentil markets finished the week's trading with a slightly easier tone in spot markets, while new crop was mainly unchanged.
Improving moisture conditions in western Canada had some impact on pricing attitudes among exporters. Medium term forecasts from the USDA call for enough precipitation through the end of the month to allow soil moisture reserves to increase.
