Larger South African Pulse HarvestPRETORIA - May 20/04 - SNS -- Pulse production levels will be bigger than initially expected this year and have the potential to increase during the coming 2004-05 marketing year, judging from the latest crop and seeding intentions estimates by the South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS). Dry edible bean production for the 2003-04 marketing year was boosted from 70,090 metric tons (MT) to 71,260 MT on the basis of better than expected average yields.
