USDA tenders for 2,560 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - May 18/04 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 2,560 metric tons (MT) of pulses fort shipment as food aid during July.
The quantity under request is much smaller than the pulse industry has become used to, but field peas and lentils continue to dominate, accounting for 79% of the invitation total, while pinto beans account for the balance.
