Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 2,030 MT
KANSAS CITY - May 18/04 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 107,220 MT, compared to 99,150 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 280 MT at 37,670 MT versus 37,950 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 7,670 MT from last year's 48,150 MT.
