North American Pea Seeding Underway
VANCOUVER - Apr 30/04 - STAT -- Seeding of this year's field pea crop got underway in Saskatchewan during the past week, focussing more attention on soil moisture conditions in the region.
In its weekly weather report, the Canadian Wheat Board noted western Canada experienced dry weather during the week ending April 26, but cool temperatures limited soil moisture losses.
