Spain to Produces More Fresh, Canned PeachesMADRID - Apr 21/04 - SNS -- Production of fresh and canned peaches is expected to come in higher than expected this year on account of a better harvest and larger deliveries to canners. The 2003 peach harvest is now estimated at 1.28 million metric tons (MT) of fresh fruit, 3% above last year, with 175,000 MT expected to be delivered to canners.
