Dairy Product Stocks Down, Eggs Up
WASHINGTON - Apr 21/04 - SNS -- Butter stocks were 2% below last month and 37% below last year as part of a general decline in dairy product stocks to 757 million pounds, according to the latest USDA cold storage data.
By contrast, the quantity of eggs on hand was up 14% over last year; though down 9% on the month at almost 19.3 million pounds.
