Frozen Poultry Stocks Advance
WASHINGTON - Apr 21/04 - SNS -- Total frozen poultry supplies on March 31, 2004 were 10% higher than the previous month but were 7% lower than a year ago, according to the latest USDA cold storage data.
Total stocks of chicken were up 10% from the previous month but down 7% from last year. Total pounds of turkey in freezers were up 9% from last month but down 6% from March 31, 2003.
