The Board administers an egg research and promotion program, authorized by the Egg Research and Consumer Information Act. The program is monitored by AMS, an agency within USDA’s marketing and regulatory mission area. Organizations seeking certification should request information and an application from Sara Lutton, Poultry Programs, AMS, USDA, 1400 Independence Avenue, SW., Room 3932-S, STOP 0256, Washington, D.C. 20250, tel. (202) 720-0623, fax (202) 720-5631. Certified organizations will receive instructions pertaining to Board nomination procedures.
