South Africa's Bean Estimate IncreasePRETORIA - Apr 20/04 - SNS -- This season's edible bean crop in South Africa is now expected to total 70,090 metric tons (MT), up from last month's 68,390 MT estimate, according to the latest estimates from the South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS) In its latest crop report, SAGIS said the increase was a result of improved yields. With seeded area unchanged, average yields advanced from last month's 1,169 kilogram per hectare estimate to a forecast 1,247 kilograms.
