USDA Seeks 13,110 MT Pulses
KANSAS CITY - Apr 19/04 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) is seeking offers of 13,110 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid in June.
While still placing a strong emphasis on field peas and lentils, the USDA expanded the proportion of dry edible beans it is trying to buy. As a result, just over 32% of the invitation total, or 4,240 MT. Field peas account for 44% of the invitation total and lentils 23%.
